Biography

Timothy Ian Crawley is the founding and managing partner of Crawley LLP. He takes pride in developing creative solutions to meet his clients’ legal needs strategically, efficiently, and effectively. And he takes even more pride in treating his clients with dignity and empathy as partners in achieving a shared goal.

Tim practices a wide range of law, including executing business and property transactions, drafting estate planning documents, conducting defendant & plaintiff-side litigation, navigating regulatory issues, and much more. He has represented clients in the aerospace, agriculture, construction, real estate, entertainment, shipping, and emergent-technology spaces, promoting his clients’ interests and adding value throughout. He frequently practices in the state and federal courts of Oregon and California, drawing from his expertise across many different disciplines to navigate complex legal issues for his clients.

Tim lives with his wife, Ashley, in Portland, Oregon with their four kids Errol, Veyda, Clover, and Merrick, whom he is very proud to serve as a coach for their flag football and baseball teams. He is a former chair and the current treasurer on the board of the Johnson Creek Watershed Council and serves on the finance council of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Along with donating his time to pro bono legal matters, he has volunteered at home and abroad in support of the environment, equity and inclusion, and civil rights. Before founding Crawley LLP, Tim led education outreach at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, served clients in the technology entrepreneur space as an associate attorney with a distinguished Silicon Valley firm, and even crewed a commercial salmon fishing boat. In 2014, he was a candidate in the Republican primary for United States Senate.
